Lake Leelanau is located near Leland on the Leelanau Peninsula in Leelanau County, northwest of Traverse City on the northwest shores of Michigan's lower peninsula. This photo was taken at the north end of the South Arm on a summer day, near the "Narrows" connecting the North and South Arms of Lake Leelanau.
